Prairie Fields, located in Prairie Village, Kansas, was originally developed by J.C. Nichols in the early 1950s during the post World-War II construction boom that gave birth to many American suburbs.
Prairie Fields consists of 743 single-family homes and continues to be a thriving, desirable neighborhood for homeowners of all ages.
The Prairie Fields Homes Association is governed by a nine member Board of Directors. The association is responsible for maintaining landscaping and statuary at traffic islands located throughout the neighborhood. The association's financial affairs are professionally managed by HACCD.
